Pitti Bimbo ends up as mini fashion week

Every edition of Pitti Bimbo includes a huge number of events involving old and young alike. With presentations of collections, runway shows, snacks and breakfasts, Pitti Bimbo ends up being a mini fashion week that appeals to all, with plenty of new entries lined up for the January edition. A look at some of them!
La Stupenderia and Make it perfect! present: “Winter in Wonderland”
La Stupenderia Apartment stand will be hosting a “Winter in Wonderland”. An idea that came after Roberta de Riso, the brand’s Creative Director met the party planner of Make it Perfect, Virginia Cabrini, the television face of the programme of the same name on Real Time TV.
This bespoke fairy tale setting was created for the A/W 2014 collection by Virginia, who has interpreted the spirit of the brand in a “Fabulously Made in Italy" style, inspired by the tale of Alice in Wonderland.
From 4.30  to 6.00 pm on Thursday 16 January 2014, visitors will also be invited to try out a magical experience. A real party where children wearing some of the most important garments from the collection will wish everyone a VERY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY!
Miniconf presents Sarabanda with an event to be enjoyed and shared
Their experience, their sensibility towards the world of children, attention to their territory and care for the quality of their garments have always represented the core philosophy of Miniconf. To present the new AW 2014/15 collection of its top label Sarabanda, the company has decided to pay homage to children themselves and the great legacy of values and dreams that they represent for us all.
On Friday 17 January at 1.00 pm, a video will be shown on  the Sarabanda stand that was filmed entirely in Casentino, the company’s place of origin, showing the world through the eyes of children and discovering a collection ... straight out of dreams. This video will also be accompanied by a special event involving all those present in the finale.
Le Guignol, a top fashion label for kids from zero to twelve years of age, will present its AW 2014-15 collection to the press on Friday 17 January, from 9.00 to 11.30 am. For the occasion a special “Breakfast at Le Guignol” will be organised on the brand’s stand on the Ground Floor of the Central Pavilion.
“In a child’s world, all paintings are hung too high”, wrote the Swedish journalist Stig Dagerman in 1951 and these words provide the starting point for the AW 2014-15 collection by Le Guignol. Practical yet elegant garments, inspired by the idea that the world of children should above all be defined by its “smallest” details.
