It took a 30-hour coach trip to get to their destination for the six-day adventure.
The first performance was a jazz concert in Cavalcaselle where they got a warm reception. As music lessons are not generally taught in Italian schools, many were delighted to experience a youth band.

Other concerts were given at the Villa Cariola, at the foot of Mount Baldo, and Piazza Carlo Alberta in Pastrengo.
The students also got a chance for some sightseeing, visiting Venice, an aqua-park and the peninsula of Lake Garda.
