A GROUP of musicians from Penryn College have returned from performing at Lake Garda, Italy.
The students are part of the school jazz band and joined with Newquay Tretherras School jazz band for the trip.
It took a 30-hour coach trip to get to their destination for the six-day adventure.
The first performance was a jazz concert in Cavalcaselle where they got a warm reception. As music lessons are not generally taught in Italian schools, many were delighted to experience a youth band.
Other concerts were given at the Villa Cariola, at the foot of Mount Baldo, and Piazza Carlo Alberta in Pastrengo.
The students also got a chance for some sightseeing, visiting Venice, an aqua-park and the peninsula of Lake Garda.
