Prada Minimal Baroque 27NSNothing short of a modern classic, the Prada Minimal Baroque collection remains must-have seasons on. Inspired by Miuccia Prada’s spring/summer 2011 catwalk with its very contemporary take on baroque styling makes for a delicious contradiction.
The designer claimed the catwalk was an outlet at the time for frustrated interior design as her husband and business partner Patrizio Bertelli disagreed about her desire to bring baroque style into their home.
Here baroque is interpreted in minimalist cut out curlicues at the temples of the 27NS. The frame bears round lenses that echo the rolling curves of the show-stopping temples giving the frame its perfect balance. It’s classic Prada; the progressive is infinitely wearable. Updated with new colourways there is a shade to match every mood and taste.
